Following a teacher modeling approach we use research-based explicit instruction that is compatible with the common core skills. Other elements of our teaching methods incorporate approaches known as gradual release of responsibility and backwards by design as well as reciprocal teaching. Teaching Assistant:
We are currently seeking a dedicated, and caring individual to fulfill a full-time Teaching Assistant position. An ideal candidate will be detail oriented, possess strong and effective communication skills, be able to work on a team as well as independently at times, and have high energy and a genuine love of children. Teaching assistants provide support to teachers, students, and provide valuable feedback for planning and prepping.
Lead Classroom Teacher:
We are looking for a Lead Classroom Teacher for a mild / moderate IDD Special Education classroom.
